Why HTML Is Not Programming language

There is always this thing, that is you can hack NASA with HTML. If you haven’t heard of this thing mate, am really sorry. You are lacking in the trend for 10 or 15 years, Well jokes aside is it possible to hack NASA with HTML. Yes you can by doing vulnerable HTML tags in some of NASA’s website or app.

But let’s face the truth, you cannot hack any company with html alone. HTML is a markup language, in simple words you can make a word document with HTML not hack a company, it is not designed for that. It is not a programming language because it can’t be programmed, we will see in detail below.

What is a programming language

What is a programming language? Mate I am human and I am going to tell you what I think is a programming language not a google search that I copied, Okay?. Everything I say here is completely my thoughts and How I learned stuff.

So, a programming language is where you can tell the computer to do certain things in order or in reaction to something like when someone visits the website you should send the documents, writing in programming language is similar to almost a human language when you consider the

machine code, then the programming language’s compiler or interpreter converts the code into machine code of 1’s and 0’s, So I think programming language are similar to human language.

What can I do with a programming language

Literally everything in this world, I mean you can ask the program to do the stuff that you want to do, Here’s what I did when I learned a programming language.

So I went to a website, the website is a regional one. So I went to the site, it had all the names of the movies that are present in the language and but not in chronogical order, also somemore stuff’s like rating and link to watch or download the movie.

I wanted to have all the link to the movies, the name, the ratings, cover images and the year. That night I spent just about 2 hours and trust me the code I wrote for this is the worst code I have ever seen in my life.

My internet speed was also just 100kb/sec, So it sucks okay. I then made a script that will take all those data’s that I mentioned right,

It will take them from that website and write it down in an excel file. The script took 30 or 45 mins to complete and mostly because of my internet, Then when I opened the file.

There was about 28,000 movies with also those data’s that I have mentioned and also in chronological order. My heart really melted over the power of programming languages.

If I would have did it myself, it would have taken me atleast of 1 month by going through atleast 933 movies each day.

So, I hope my story would have helped you understand what all the stuff that are possible with programming language, You can achieve anything If you have idea and way of implementation.

These are for making pages or documents. They can’t programmed to do something but they are easy to learn and use it in daily use.
